To Your Eternity Season 3 Reveals First Video, Cast Lineup & Staff Details!
The official website for To Your Eternity has dropped the first promotional video for its upcoming third season, giving fans an exciting glimpse of what’s to come. The video not only teases the story ahead but also confirms the returning cast and introduces new voices and staff members.
Reiji Kawashima is back as the voice of the main character, Fushi, and Kenjirō Tsuda also returns as The Observer. Tomori Kusunoki, who voiced Hisame in Season 2, will now play Mizuha—a popular and talented second-year middle schooler. Megumi Han, who played Torta previously, returns as Yūki Aoki, a first-year student and the Occult Research Club’s vice president. New to the cast is Yumiri Hanamori, who will voice a mysterious new character named Satoru.
This season will mark the directorial debut of Sōta Yokote, known for his work on shows like Bye Bye, Earth and Komi Can’t Communicate. Meanwhile, Kiyoko Sayama, who directed Season 2, will now serve as the chief director. Other returning staff members include Shinzō Fujita as script supervisor, Koji Yabuno for character design, Ryo Kawasaki on music, and Takeshi Takadera as sound director.
To Your Eternity Season 3 is set to premiere this October on the NHK General channel in Japan. Crunchyroll will stream the season for global audiences.
The third season will cover the "This World" arc, continuing the story from where Season 2 left off. The anime has seen great success since its debut in April 2021, with its emotional storytelling and deep themes of life, death, and reincarnation.
Meanwhile, the original manga by Yoshitoki Ōima is also nearing its conclusion. The third arc began in January 2023 and will end in Weekly Shōnen Magazine’s 27th issue on June 4, 2025. The final manga volume (Volume 25) will be released on August 12.
Originally launched in 2016, the manga won the Best Shōnen Manga award at the 2019 Kodansha Manga Awards and was featured on the American Library Association’s 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens.
