The Ending of Jujutsu Kaisen Manga - Gege Akutami Has Finalized the Ending!
The popular shonen manga series "Jujutsu Kaisen" is gearing up for its final chapter in 2024, as confirmed by the author, Gege Akutami. The conclusive moment is expected within the next 30 or so chapters, concluding the ongoing Culling Game arc and providing closure for the beloved characters. Although It’s a shame that such an iconic manga like Jujutsu Kaisen is ending, fans can’t wait to see who’s the strongest in the manga!
During Jump Festa 2024 on December 16, Akutami shared this news at the Jujutsu Kaisen panel. He announced that this event marks the last serialization of Jujutsu Kaisen, implying that the manga will conclude before the next Jump Festa in December of the following year.
The manga, which began its journey on March 5, 2018, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, will culminate its seven-year serialization. As of now, Jujutsu Kaisen boasts 25 volumes, encompassing 227 chapters and 11 story arcs. Akutami also disclosed that the manga has an impressive circulation of 90 million copies.
Anticipating the remaining timeline for the series, it's estimated that Jujutsu Kaisen will likely have around 35 to 40 more chapters. This projection takes into account the regular weekly release schedule, with occasional breaks taken by Akutami, who typically rests once a week every month.
As the second season of the anime approaches its conclusion, fans can look forward to the release of the Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash fighting game on February 24 next year. With this impending conclusion, the Jujutsu Kaisen community eagerly awaits the final chapters, anticipating how Akutami will wrap up this iconic action series.
