Solo Leveling Producer Hints at Exciting Season 3 Update!
It’s been almost a month since Solo Leveling finished airing Season 2, and fans have been eagerly waiting for any news about Season 3. Even though Season 2 was a huge hit, the creators have strangely not yet confirmed if Season 3 is happening. As time passed, fans started getting worried — but now, it seems there’s finally a reason to relax.
Atsushi Kaneko, the producer of Solo Leveling at A-1 Pictures, made a post on X (formerly Twitter) on April 25th that hinted at something exciting. He wrote that “greatful f○○kin' happy news” is coming and tagged Crunchyroll along with Solo Leveling hashtags. This clearly shows that the good news he’s talking about is related to Solo Leveling.
However, Kaneko didn’t give specific details about what the news is. Naturally, fans are hoping it’s the much-awaited announcement for Season 3. Given how successful Season 2 was, it’s surprising that the renewal hasn’t been officially announced yet.
Interestingly, Kaneko’s post had several globe emojis 🌎🌍🌏. Some fans believe this could hint at a global announcement, like a worldwide theatrical release of a Solo Leveling movie that summarizes Season 2. This theory makes sense because a Blu-ray release for Solo Leveling has already been announced recently. So, a movie release or a Season 3 confirmation are the two most likely possibilities.
It’s also worth noting that Chugong, the original creator of Solo Leveling, teased a few months ago that more good news would arrive around mid-year. So it’s possible that the producer’s hint and Chugong’s earlier tease are about different things, meaning fans might have multiple announcements to look forward to!
For now, fans are keeping a close watch on Solo Leveling’s official anime website and social media pages. While nothing is confirmed just yet, it seems clear that good news is on the way — and hopefully, it’s the announcement that fans have been waiting for.
Stay tuned, Hunters!
