Reincarnated as the Hero's Daughter" Anime Sets October Debut!
The fantasy anime Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits is officially coming this October! The anime’s team recently released a new teaser video, which gives fans a quick look at the upcoming show and introduces even more staff members working behind the scenes.
Based on the light novel series by writer Matsuura and illustrator keepout, this isekai (reincarnation) story follows a girl named Ellen, who dies in modern-day Japan and is reborn into a magical world. But this time, she’s not just anyone—she’s the daughter of the kingdom’s legendary hero, Rovel, and the queen of all spirits, Origin. Even more surprising, Ellen herself is a powerful half-spirit who can control elemental forces. With her past life’s knowledge and her new magical abilities, Ellen is determined to protect her family and live a happy, peaceful life.
The anime will air on Tokyo MX and other channels starting in October 2025. It’s being animated by the well-known studio J.C. Staff, which has worked on many fan-favorite anime. Riki Fukushima is directing, while Touko Machida, known for Lucky Star and The IDOLM@STER, is writing the series scripts. Character designs are by Mina Ōsawa, who previously worked on shows like Given and Tadaima, Okaeri.
The cast includes:
Seria Fukagawa as Ellen
Kazuyuki Okitsu as Rovel (the father)
Mai Nakahara as Origin (the mother)
The teaser also revealed more staff, including:
Art Director: Si Man Wei
Color Designer: Moe Sudo
Music Composer: Misaki Umase
Sound Director: Jin Aketagawa
The original light novel series ran from 2016 to 2020 and consisted with 9 volumes. The manga adaptation began in 2018 and is being published in English by Manga UP! Global. It’s already up to 12 volumes.
With a cute and powerful heroine, a magical family, and a heartwarming story, Reincarnated as the Hero’s Daughter promises to be a fun and emotional ride for fantasy and isekai fans alike. Don’t miss its premiere this October!
