Reborn as a Vending Machine Season 2 Drops OFFICIAL Trailer and More Ahead of July 2!
The popular anime Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, is officially coming back with Season 2, and the team behind the show just revealed lots of exciting updates!
On Wednesday, the staff shared a brand new key visual and the main promotional video for Season 2. The video also gives fans a first listen to the new opening theme song titled “Mirai Cider” (which translates to Future Cider) performed by the band BRADIO.
Season 2 will officially premiere in Japan on July 2, 2025. It will first air on Tokyo MX at 10:00 p.m. JST, followed by streaming on platforms like d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai. Later that night, it will also broadcast on BS NTV and AT-X.

Fans will see many familiar voices returning. Jun Fukuyama is back as Hakkon (also known as Boxxo), and Kaede Hondo returns as Lammis. Other returning cast members include Miyu Tomita (Shui), Kazuya Nakai (Kerioiru), Ai Kayano (Firumina), and several others.
There are also some fresh faces joining Season 2. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will voice a new character, Hebui, and Rie Takahashi will voice Kikoyu. Kotomi Aihara will take over the role of Hyūrumi, replacing Shiki Aoki, who stepped away for health reasons.
Behind the scenes, there are a few staff changes. Takashi Yamamoto is taking over as director for Season 2, replacing Noriaki Akitaya. However, many of the main production staff are returning, including script supervisor Tatsuya Takahashi and character designer Takahiro Sakai. The ending theme for the season, “Boku Dake no Chiheisen” (A Horizon Only for Me), will be performed by Aina Aiba.

For those new to the series, Reborn as a Vending Machine tells the quirky story of a man who dies and is reincarnated as—you guessed it—a vending machine inside a dangerous dungeon. Unable to move or talk, he must survive in this monster-filled world with the help of allies he meets along the way.
The anime originally aired in July 2023, with Crunchyroll streaming both the Japanese version and the English dub. The light novels, written by Hirukuma, have been fully published in English by Yen Press, along with an ongoing manga adaptation.
With a fresh cast, new songs, and exciting updates, Season 2 promises to bring even more vending machine adventures!
