Potion Isekai Series Brews Up TV Anime for October Premiere!
A new isekai anime is on the way! The fantasy light novel series Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru (translated as Potions Will Save Me) is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, set to premiere this October. The announcement was made by animation studio IMAGICA Infos, which is producing the show alongside Imageworks Studio. Studio KAIBA will also help with animation work.
The anime is being directed by Mikiko Furukawa, known for her work on Moriarty’s Perfect Crime. Yūichi Imaizumi will handle the sound direction, and bermei.inazawa is composing the music. Production supervision is credited to Kazuya Takahashi.
What’s the Story?
The series follows Kaede, a regular high school girl who suddenly finds herself reincarnated into a fantasy world. In this strange new place, she encounters beastkin, elves, dragons, and more. While exploring, she discovers a mysterious book in her bag that allows her to make magical potions just by gathering materials and saying the word “Create.”
Using her new potion-making powers, Kaede tries to survive in this unfamiliar world and eventually finds a way to return home to Japan. It’s a story filled with adventure, magic, and a bit of mystery, making it a great addition to the ever-popular isekai genre.
