Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost Manga To Release English Version By Manga UP!

Square Enix's Manga UP service will adapt the storied manga in English

On Monday, Square Enix's Manga UP! Global Service announced the availability of Imari Arita's manga "Miss Shachiku and the Little Baby Ghost" (Shachiku-san wa Yо̄jo Yuurei ni Iyasaretai.) in English. Initially shared by Arita on Twitter in February 2019, the manga was later published by Shonen Gangan in August 2019. Manga UP! provides the following synopsis for the story:

The manga follows the life of Fushihara-san, a diligent office worker who frequently stays late at the office. One night, a caring ghost named Yurei-chan appears, urging Fushihara-san to go home. Yurei-chan not only assists Fushihara-san with her work but also brings her snacks while pleading for her to leave. Despite Fushihara-san's resistance, she can't resist Yurei-chan's adorable nature and becomes captivated by her. Join them on their heartwarming daily experiences as Fushihara-san, who can see ghosts, and the caring Yurei-chan, bring comfort and healing.

The popularity of this manga led to the creation of an anime series that premiered in Japan in April 2022. The anime consisted of 12 episodes and was streamed by Crunchyroll as it aired.
