Mashle: Muscles and Magic Returns With a Sequel

In a surprising announcement, it was revealed that Hajime Komoto’s Mashle: Muscles and Magic will be getting a sequel. The event also revealed the OFFICIAL teaser for this sequel. 

The first season premiered in Japan in April 2023 and was streamed with an English dub by Crunchyroll. The second season followed in January 2024. Interestingly, the original anime project was considered a complete adaptation of the manga. Here’s what you need to know!

Teaser and Production Team

The first two seasons were directed by Tomonari Tanaka (Engage Kiss, Visual Prison) at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia scripts) handled the series scripts, with character designs by Hisashi Higashijima (Tada Never Falls in Love key animation) and music by Masaru Yokoyama (Fruits Basket 2019, Astra Lost in Space).
