Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Smartphone Game Finally Launches in 2024

Have you ever played a video game based on a unique anime which is also linked with big names like Square Enix, Disney, and many others? Well, brace yourselves as Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link hits smartphones in 2024 with its brand new version! Square Enix just dropped the English-subtitled trailer for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link smartphone game, and guess what? It's set to launch in 2024 for both iOS and Android.

Square Enix is gearing up for a closed beta test of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, and you can register until November 19. For iOS users, the beta kicks off on November 29 at 7:00 a.m. UTC and runs until December 8.

On the development front, Square Enix has Kingdom Hearts IV in the works. Meanwhile, they brought Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind to Nintendo Switch via cloud on February 10.

Remember Kingdom Hearts Union χ [Cross] and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road? Originally set to end in May 2021, Union χ [Cross] wrapped up its story in June, and both games transitioned to offline mode. Square Enix had plans for a Kingdom Hearts Dark Road update last winter, but it got delayed due to a "major scenario addition."

Kingdom Hearts III, dropping in January 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One, made waves with over 5 million worldwide shipments by February 2019. It's the franchise's fastest-selling title. The "Re Mind" DLC followed in January 2020.

For a different beat, there's Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, the first rhythm action game in the series, hitting Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in the West and Japan in November 2020. This was the sole Kingdom Hearts title available for the Switch.

Beyond the games, the Kingdom Hearts universe expands into manga and light novels, with English releases courtesy of Yen Press. So, whether you're exploring new worlds in the games or diving into the stories on paper, there's plenty of Kingdom Hearts magic to go around!
