Kaiju No. 8 Sequel Streams on Crunchyroll
In another exciting update, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will stream the sequel, ensuring that fans worldwide can keep up with the adventures of Kafka Hibino and his comrades. Crunchyroll has been streaming the first season with both English subtitles and an English dub, making the series accessible to a broader audience.
The first season premiered on TV Tokyo on April 13 and was also streamed in real-time worldwide on X (formerly Twitter), allowing fans to experience the anime simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

The animation production was undertaken by Production I.G, the studio behind Ghost in the Shell, ensuring high-quality animation and production values. The opening and ending themes of Kaiju No. 8 also feature international musical talents. British singer YUNGBLUD performed the opening theme song "Abyss," while American pop rock group OneRepublic provided the ending theme song "Nobody," adding a global appeal to the series' soundtrack.

Viz Media is releasing the manga in English, both digitally and physically, while Shueisha publishes it digitally on its MANGA Plus service under the title Monster #8.
