Fourth Kingdom Movie Live-Action Release!
The official website for the live-action Kingdom movie, based on the popular manga, has unveiled the main trailer and visual for its upcoming fourth installment: Kingdom: Daishougun no Kikan (The Return of The Great General). The new tagline promises an unforgettable battle ahead.
In the film, Masao Kusakari takes on the role of King Qin, once known as the "God of War," alongside Takao Osawa as Wang Qi, his faithful servant. Yuko Araki joins the cast as Kyou, a mysterious general deeply intertwined with the past relationships of key characters.
What Will the Movie Be About?
The movie marks the culmination of the Battle of Bayou, the intense conflict between Qin and Zhao that has been building since the previous installment. Director Shinsuke Sato, known for his work on the previous three films, continues to helm the project.
Returning to reprise their roles are Kento Yamazaki as Xin, Ryo Yoshizawa as Ying Zheng, and Takao Osawa as Wang Qi. The film promises to deliver action-packed scenes and further explore the complex dynamics between the characters.
Release Date
Kingdom: Daishougun no Kikan is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on July 12, 2024, and will be available in various formats, including IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema, from its release date.
