First Video Reveals Cast, July Debut, Opening Song for Failure Frame Anime

 The upcoming anime adaptation of Kaoru Shinozaki's "Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything With Low-Level Spells" light novel series has unveiled exciting details in a new promotional video. Scheduled for a July premiere, the series introduces viewers to its main cast and the opening theme song "HAZURE" by Chogakusei.

The story follows Touka Mimori and his classmates, who are unexpectedly summoned to a fantasy world by a goddess to fulfill the role of heroes. While most of his peers exhibit impressive abilities, Touka finds himself at the bottom with a mere E-rank. Frustrated, the goddess condemns him to a dungeon, expecting his demise. However, it soon becomes evident that Touka's skills are not as useless as they seem—they possess abnormal strength that could potentially change the game.

The cast includes Ryōta Suzuki as Tōka Mimori, Saki Miyashita as Celes Ashrain, Ayami Tsukui as Pigimaru, and Ami Koshimizu as Vicious. These talented actors bring life to the diverse characters in Touka's journey through this fantastical realm.

Fans can anticipate an advance screening of the series at the Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro in Tokyo on May 19, offering an exclusive glimpse into the anime's world before its official debut.

Directed by Michio Fukuda and produced by Seven Arcs in collaboration with Synergy SP, the anime promises an engaging adaptation of the beloved light novel series. Yasuhiro Nakanishi oversees the series scripts, ensuring a faithful portrayal of the source material's compelling narrative. Both the light novel series and its manga adaptation have been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. The story's premise of an underdog protagonist with unexpectedly potent abilities has resonated with audiences since its debut on Overlap's Comic Gardo site in July 2018. With the manga's eighth volume recently released in Japan, fans have eagerly awaited its anime adaptation to bring Touka's adventures to life on screen.
