In this episode, we’ll cover how, on November 30, 2026, the digital entertainment network Ultra will debut an immersive English audio drama adaptation of Kusanagi Riku's popular fantasy novel, The Isekai Hero With Only A Smartphone. Developed in partnership with the production collective Closing Credits, this project chronicles the comedic journey of Yuto Amano, a regular gamer thrust into the magical realm of Elindor who must rely solely on his outdated mobile phone. This upcoming release highlights Ultra's ongoing mission to broaden its catalog with anime-inspired entertainment tailored for international listeners. By using dynamic voice performances and sound design instead of traditional visuals, the production reimagines the narrative format for global audiences. Ultimately, the collaboration expands Ultra's universe of original audio properties while simultaneously nurturing emerging talent in voice acting and audio engineering.
