Dead Account Anime Drops First Trailer and Stunning Key Visual!
The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Dead Account, the supernatural action manga by Shizumu Watanabe, has finally dropped some major updates. On August 1, the anime’s official website and social media accounts revealed a full trailer, a brand-new key visual, new cast and staff members, and most importantly, a confirmed release window. Dead Account will begin airing in January 2026.

What's Dead Account About?
Dead Account follows Soji Enishiro, a high school dropout who goes by the online name “Aoringo.” Online, he’s known as a loud, chaotic troll streamer. But in reality, he’s doing it all to pay for his sick sister’s hospital bills. When strange events begin to unfold around him, his life takes a supernatural turn.
The anime is based on the manga published by K Manga, which also offers an official English version.
