Date A Live Returns: New Anime Project Officially Announced!
A brand-new anime project has been announced, continuing the legacy of the long-running sci-fi romance series. While the exact format and release date haven’t been revealed yet, fans can already look forward to more thrilling content in the near future.
To celebrate the announcement, a new teaser visual has been released, and original illustrator Tsunako shared a fresh illustration of fan-favorite character Tohka Yatogami. The image beautifully captures the series' charm and is sure to excite long-time followers.
12th Anniversary Celebration
On top of the new project reveal, Date A Live is also celebrating its 12th anniversary in style. Kadokawa unveiled a new commemorative visual featuring the female cast dressed in elegant white summer outfits.
A special event will take place on the sixth floor of Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise 2 from April 24 to May 11, 2025, with themed exhibits and goods for fans to enjoy. There’s also a collaboration planned with several Don Quijote stores across Japan.

What Is Date A Live About?
